Inspired by Carole for Paperartsy

Here is my efforts this week, it is a combination of both Carole's posts and a bit of me going off on my own.

I took a piece of mountboard and painted in Butternut, Texture paste through my new Cornflower stencil and then left it at that, I really like to white effect. Stamped the side in the bottles from HP1100. I stamped this in archival ink black, then put gold embossing power on top before the black had dried. The wording is from HPXR05EZ. I then stamped mini script in Versamark and embossed in gold, gold embossing around all edges, pearls and wire to finish off the project.

Hope you like!! Thanks for looking.

Country View Crafts - Flowers

Here is my contribution to the challenge, I know I am a bit late but it has been a busy month.  Most of what I have used is Paperartsy stuff!!!

So here is my little flower bag, I covered a piece of card with texture paste and stamped into this.  After it dried I painted with Guacamole and Hyde Park and touched the high points and a bit more with Treasure Gold, love this.   For the flowers I used Lin Browns new stamps amother favourite and paints - Hyde Park, Gucamole, London Bus and White. Final touch more Treasure Gold and Liquid Pearls - Ruby Red.

Hope you like, thanks for looking.

Paperartsy France style

Well here is my entry for this weeks challenge, I had to improvise quite a bit as I did not have all the bits and things France used.  I found an old cotton reel with a little bit of cotton left on which I used as well and worked my colour scheme around what I had.  I used Fesco paints, Hyde Park and Rose. Paperartsy Stamps from HPXT02 and HP1005, coloured the ribbon with dilute paint and added a couple of pearls and finally I added White Fire Treasure Gold.  I treated myself to some Treasure Gold, this week and I love it!!!!!

Indigoblu Challenge Flowers

Here is my contribution to the flowers challenge. I used the Poppy Heart Stamp in just two colours of Distressed Ink - Salty Ocean and  Picked Raspberry, my favourite colours, I used these throughout my card.  The background card, is using Goosebumps spray, this is a fab spray you spray on to card leave to dry and it leaves a raised resist effect, I then coloured and stamped around the edges, probably not easy to see on the picture. A few flowers die cut and a swirl or three and its done.  Hope you like thanks for looking.

Inspired by Sue

Hi folks here is my contribution to this weeks challenge at Paperartsy.  Sue Carrington is the guest designer this week.

I started with a piece of mountboard, added texture paste through a brick stencil and added more texture with my pallete knive, and as I dont have Taupe Fresco Paint I mixed (very brave) cheesecake and french roast to give me a taupe colour - painted all over and then added a bit more french roast to highlight the bricks. Bumped through a stencil with claret and butternut and used Lin Browns 01and 02 stamps on to spare card using, claret and butternut for the flowers and hyde park and limelight for the leaves, a bit of coloured wax to add dimension, Treasure Gold is on my wish list along with more paints, so hopefully will have these soon.

A few little buttons to add more texture and I was done!!   Hope you like, thanks for looking.
